Cameron Green, age 20, resident of Haylong Avenue in Mt. Pleasant, Passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Cameron will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, October 11, 2010 in the chapel of the Williams Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant with Jeff Waldrop and Ricky Frazier officiating. Interment will follow in the Blowing Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 9 P.M. on Sunday and from 12 Noon until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Born December 5, 1989 in Maury County, he was the son of Tammy Vandygriff Green of Mt. Pleasant. He was a 2008 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. Cameron loved dirt track racing, football, hunting and country music. He was a member of the Sandy Hook Church of Christ.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-father, Justin Hyatt of Mt. Pleasant; a son, Cameron Andrew Green of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Caleigh Smith of Mt. Pleasant; grandparents, Brenda Pruitt of Mt. Pleasant and Randall Janice Vandygriff of Columbia; uncles and aunts, Timmy Tanya Vandygriff, Mikey Lindsey, Brandy Vandygriff and Tara Vandygriff all of Mt. Pleasant; Great-grandparents, Edna and Ambers Church, Delores Vandygriff, and Roy Pruitt all of Mt. Pleasant; and special girlfriend, Hannah Frazier of Mt. Pleasant. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Kenneth Vandygriff.
Active pallbearers will be Dillon Scott, Christopher Boshers, Zach Daniels, Christopher Hughes, Kaleb Vandygriff, Kennan Vandygriff and Alex McWilliams. Honorary pallbearers will be John Colvett, Jerico McKennon, William Pruitt, Wesley Pruitt, Terry White, Tammie Frazier and the graduating class of 2008 at Mt. Pleasant High School.
