Cambell C.M. Lemay

April 22, 1927 — January 18, 2013

Mr. Campbell C.M. Lemay “PawPaw”, age 85 passed away January 18, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Campbell was born April 27, 1927 in Giles County to John and Maude Lemay. He was retired from Conalco, and pastored several churches over 50 years. He was an Associate Pastor at the People’s Table and attended The Open Door Baptist Church. His family described him as a devoted Christian who never met a stranger in his life.

Survivors for Mr. Lemay include his children Martha Sue Bane of Nashville, Brenda (Joe) Hickman of Columbia, Patsy (Bill) McCurdy of Columbia, Janice (Derek) Barton of Mt. Pleasant, Ricky (Robin) Lemay of Columbia, Terry (Terri) Lemay of Culleoka, Timothy Lemay of Columbia, and Kimberly Pruitt of Columbia. Mr. Lemay’s grandchildren are Gena Riley, Jackie Tanner, Darrell Hickman, Michael Hickman, Russell Hickman, Jonathon Hickman, Misti Hall, Richie Seagraves Jr., Stephanie Preciado, Wendi Thurman, Jeremy Lemay, Andrew Lemay, Hunter Lemay, Brandon Taylor, Jason Pruitt, Kaycie Pruitt, and Alex Pruitt. He also leaves behind many great grandchildren and a special friend Marianne Lassiter.

The family wishes to gather with friends Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 4:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, and celebrate his life the following Monday, January 21, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. with Bro. Gene Shelton, Bro. Herb Helton, Bro. J.O. Martin and Terry Lemay officiating.

Pallbearers include: Darrell Hickman, Michael Hickman, Jeremy Lemay, Andrew Lemay, Richie Seagraves Jr., Jason Pruitt, Hunter Lemay, and Russell Hickman.

Honorary pallbearers will include: Brandon Tayler, Jonathon Hickman, Alex Pruit, and Derek Barton.

Williams Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
