Calvin Hodge

August 3, 1946 — October 27, 2008

Mr. Calvin Hodge, age 62, a resident of Campbellsville Road in Lynnville, passed away on Monday, October 27, at his residence..

Funeral services for Mr. Hodge will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Randy McNeece and Eddie Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

A native of Giles County, he was the son of the late Charlie Hodge, Sr., and Octvene Walls Hodge. He was a firefighter for the Forestry Division of the State of Tennessee for nearly forty years and was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include one brother: Charlie Hodge, Jr., of Nashville; cousins: Terry Kathy Hodge, Ricky Sheila Hodge, Sheila Linus Head, Terry & Michael Hodge, Ricky Wade, Billy Jack Hodge, Susan Hodge and Dana Gregg Hodge King, all of Columbia and special care givers: Larry and Sue Fralix of mt. Pleasant and Richard Peach of Columbia.

Pallbearers will be Richard Peach, Adrian Lindsey, Gerald Eaton, Shannon Sims, Dave Hite, Richard Wells, Jeff Harmon, Terry Hodge, Sr., Terry Hodge, Jr., Ricky Hodge, Sr., Ricky Hodge, Jr., and Ralph Barr. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry and Larry McNeese, Wayne Thompson, Ron Grabar, Nicky Savage, Robert Todd, Eddie Joe Cason, Randall Cason, Rod Guttowski, Melvin Huffman, Donald Derryberry, Steven Peach, Tom Hall, W.C. Waldrop, Russell Waldrop, Jessie Waldrop, Harold Sharp and R.L. Cummins.

A special thanks to Dr. John Worthman and his staff and the staff of Hospice of the Highland Rim.
