Mr. J. M. ? Butch? Sisk, 67, a resident of Cross Bridges Community, died Friday, April 16, 2004 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Funeral services for Mr. Sisk will be conducted Monday, April 19, 2004 at 12:30 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Anthony Muston and Scott Frakes officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens . The family will visit with friends Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of Mrs. Margaret Holt Sisk of Cross Bridges and the late J. B. ?Jesse? Sisk. He was the husband of Kay Bolin Sisk. He was a long-time owner and operator of Butch?s Market in Mt. Pleasant and a former rural mail carrier for the Williamsport area. He was a member of the Viola Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Jeff Tammy Sisk of Mt. Pleasant, TN; a daughter, Debbie Tim Vincent of Franklin, TN; a step-daughter, Rhonda Kay Billy Carroll of Hampshire, TN; a sister Ruby Tommy Johnson of Columbia, TN ; grandchildren, Daryn Sisk, Zachary Sisk, Josh McConnell, Jacob McConnell, Briar Carroll, Madelyn Vincent, Meagan Vincent; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a step-son, Walton Bailey.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Jones, Darryl Judd, Chris Brock, Billy Carroll, Sammy Boshers, Jr., Terry Brewer, Mike Johnson, and Mitch Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers will be W.C. Johnson, Warren Jones, Billy Dan Morrow, Wayne Morrow, Matthew Judd, Cecil Sherrill, Terry Ailor, Neil King, Billy H. Smith, Wayne Smith, Randy Jackson, Frank McBride, Kenneth Mullinax, Doug Hitchon, former employees of Butch?s Market, and friends of the Cross Bridges Community.
