Bruce D'Carl Gant

Mr. Bruce D?Carl Gant, 65, a resident of Poplar Estates on Rosewood Drive in Columbia and a former longtime resident of Mineral Point, Wisconsin, died Sunday, January 2, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.

A memorial service for Mr. Gant will be conducted Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating. Inurnment will be in the Graceland Cemetery in Mineral Point at a later date.

Born in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Robert B. and Lola Stoner Gant. He was a retired custodian with 26 years of dedicated service from the University of Wisconsin, loved NASCAR and a fan of the Green Bay Packers. He was a member of the Mineral Point United Methodist Church.

He is survived by a brother, Gilbert Margaret Gant of Columbia, TN; a sister, Carol Donald Wasley of Mineral Point, WI; four nieces, Diana David Dodson of Florida, Jeanie Gant of New Orleans, LA, Theresa David Frogge of East Limestone, AL and Cindy Paul Prohaska of Mineral Point, WI; six nephews, Gary Margaret Gant of Harvest, AL, Randy Marcy Gant of Janesville, WI, William Mary Ann Gant of Columbia, TN, Mark Wasley, Kevin Wasley and Craig Brenda Wasley, all of Mineral Point, WI; several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
