Bruce Barnett

Bruce Barnett, age 73, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2024, at NHC-Columbia, with his devoted wife, Robyn, by his side. Born on December 7, 1950, to the late Owen and Lillie Barnett, Bruce was a good Christian man whose faith guided him throughout his life.

Bruce loved his family beyond measure and was a wonderful, dedicated husband to Robyn for 39 years. He was known for his intelligence, hardworking nature, and ambition, qualities that he brought to every aspect of his life. An outdoor enthusiast, Bruce found joy in activities such as fishing, golfing, and boating. He excelled at long-distance running as well. He also shared his love of sports with the next generation by coaching Little League.

Bruce is now reunited with his son, Adam, and his beloved parents. He leaves behind his cherished wife, Robyn; daughter, Heather Burkhart (Jason); stepdaughter, Heidi Fancett (Jason); and his adored grandchildren: Stephen Burkhart,  Andrea Burkhart, Abby Fancett, and Claire Fancett, who will carry forward his legacy of love and dedication.
