Mr. Bruce Baker, 79, died Friday, January 7, 2005 at his residence on Wade Brown Road in the Farmington Community near Lewisburg.
Funeral services for Mr. Baker will be conducted Sunday, January 9, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Greg Elswick officiating. Entombment will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Madisonville, Kentucky native was the son of the late Cleve and Elsie Clayton Baker. He was the husband of Marie Seeley Baker. Mr. Baker was a retired machine repairman for Dana Corporation in Michigan and a former resident of Hohenwald. He enjoyed flea marketing, fishing and his family. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #511 in Wyandotte, Michigan.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters, Karen Fritts of Belleville, MI, Debbie Dave Bernardine of Taylor, MI and Jeanie Dave Rosenbalm of Lewisburg, TN; a sister, Lillian Carroll of Taylor, MI; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Baker; a son-in-law, Don Fritts.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Fritts, Adam Fritts, Andy Fritts, Danny Bernardine, Michael Bernardine and Floyd Baker.
