Bro. Charlie Vestal "C.V." Robinson, Sr.

Bro. Charlie Vestal ?C.V.? Robinson, Sr., 69, a resident of South Main Street in Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Bro. Robinson will be conducted Sunday, June 19, 2005 at 2:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Jeff Waldrop officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery with military honors provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19. The family will visit with friends after 6:00 pm Friday and all day Saturday at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the son of the late Charlie B. and Susie Moore Robinson and husband of Anna Faye Thomason Robinson. He was retired from the maintenance department at Stauffer Chemical/ Zeneca, a longtime Church of Christ minister in Maury County and a veteran of the US Army. He was the current minister of Halls Chapel Church of Christ.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Darlene Robinson of Nashville; a son, Charlie V. Robinson, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant; a sister, Evelyn Russell Waldrop of Mt. Pleasant; a brother; Glenn Janice Robinson of Mt. Pleasant; two grandsons, Charlie ?Bubba? Robinson and Matthew Robinson, both of Mt. Pleasant; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ken Williams, W.C. Waldrop, Randy McNeece, Randy Kersey, Bill Runions and R.L. Cummins. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of the Church of Christ and the staff of Williams Funeral Home.
