Mrs. Brenda Sue Adams Head, age 52, resident of Red Hill Center Road in Lawrenceburg, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at Maury Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
Funeral services for Mrs. Head will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 28, 2010 in the chapel of the Williams Funeral Home of Columbia with Rev. James Adams officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
The Head family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Born on February 20, 1958 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of the late Lowell Adams and Frances Banks Adams of Lawrenceburg. She was the wife of Harold Steven Head of Lawrenceburg. She had worked for the Mt. Pleasant High School as a custodian and also had worked as a seamstress for Winning Moves. Every person who met Brenda fell in love with her in a very special way. Brenda loved going camping and fishing. Brenda was of the Pentecostal Faith. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her mother and husband, Brenda is survived by her daughter, Belinda Scott of Columbia and granddaughter, Shannah Riley of Mt. Pleasant; daughter, Shelly Darrell Clark of Columbia and three grandsons, Hunter, Waylon and Harley Clark of Columbia; step-son, Steven Tyler Head of Pulaski; son-in-law, Greg Brandy Riley of Summertown and grandson, Dusty Riley of Summertown and granddaughter, Elizabeth Riley of Summertown; sister, Kathie Kilzer of Madison; brother, Ricky Ruth Adams of Dickson;half-sister, Pam Story of Lawrenceburg; special niece, Brandy Kilzer of Murfreesboro and great-niece, Grace and great-nephews, August and Dominick of Murfreesboro; special nephew, J.T. Jenny Kilzer of Murfreesboro and great-nephews Kayden and Peyton; and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
Active pallbearers will be Darrell Clark, Greg Riley, Hunter Clark, August Saucier, J.T. Kilzer, Myron Shed, Danny Martin and Paul Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be John Kennedy Bradley Clark, James Clark, Brad Morgan, Joey Morgan, Justin Adams, Sam Head, Gerald Head, Michael Martin, Junior Scott, George Scott, Brian Hogan, Brent Hogan, Jason Bessent and Darrell Scott.
