Mr. Boyd Winn
Mr. Boyd Thomas Winn, 71, a resident of East 17th Street in Columbia, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Winn will be conducted Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 2:30 pm in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Jim Ledbetter and Reverend Mark Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4 :00 until 9 :00 pm and Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home .
The Maury County native was the son of the late Willie and Ruby Watson Winn and the husband of Mary Kirtley Winn. Mr. Winn retired from Tennessee Aluminum Processors, Inc. and was a truck driver for Smith?s Trucking. He was of Baptist Faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Tommy Wayne Sandra Winn of Lewisburg, TN, Carolyn Boyce Ardry of La Vergne, TN, Cindy Ron Burgress of Saw Dust, Terri Michael Brandon of Waverly, TN and Kay Mark Howard of Joelton, TN; twenty one grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Eva Mae Vernon Pruitt of Columbia, TN and Joann Lane of Culleoka, TN; a brother, Johnny Edna Winn of Columbia, TN; mother-in-law, Thelma Barron ?Mama Kirtley? of Columbia, TN ;very special cousin, Houston Joyce Howell of Fort Worth, TX. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Earl Winn and a special friend Earnest Watson.
A very special thanks to Maury Regional Hospital for the tender loving care that was given to the patient and the family.
Pallbearers will be Houston Howell, Boyce Ardry, Bill Ardry, Steve Ardry, Roger Workman and Charlie Parrish.
Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons.
