Bonnie Merritt Burns

Mrs. Bonnie Jean Merritt Burns, 79, wife of George Phillip Burns, formerly of Chestnut Ridge near Santa Fe, died Sunday, January 8, 2006 at her residence in San Diego, California.
Graveside services for Mrs. Burns will be conducted Monday, January 16, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Adkison Cemetery with Rick Points officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 9:30 until 10:30 at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
The Kansas City, Missouri native was the daughter of the late Frank and Ellen Nader Merritt. She was a homemaker and member of the United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Candace ?Candy? Jerry Riles of Baton Rouge, LA; a son, Chris Carol Clements of San Diego, CA; two brothers Monroe Merritt of Kansas and Ben Merritt of Missouri; four grandchildren, Mark Loren Riles, Tony Shelley Riles, Kimberlee Scott Stewart, and Russell Clements; 7 great grandsons, Nicholas, Jarred, Cameron, Christian, Dakota, Cullen, and Caleb.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
