Bonnie Kaye Isabell

Kaye Isabell was born May 31, 1953 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late Bonnie Blue Isabell and Annie Isabell. Bonnie was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and Columbia State Community College. Over the years, Kaye had worked in a number of area restaurants, many of which were owned by her family. She was affiliated with the Ebenezer Community Church.

Kaye is survived by her four sons, Kevin Charmante Isabell, Brandon Renee Mercer Isabell, Christopher Isabell and David Mayberry, all of Columbia; grandchildren, Seth Isabell, Brice Isabell, Trinity Isabell, Bentley Blue Isabell, Christian Carroll, Dakota Mercer, Christopher Isabell, Jr., and Takayla Berry; two sisters, Linda Jerry Young and Rose Buck Bondurant and one brother, Ulner Isabell, all of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents, Kaye was preceded in death by siblings, Katherine Medlin, Margaret Stewart, Seth Isabell, Helen Bolton and Marshall Isabell.

Kaye passed away on Friday, April 6, at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services for Kaye will be conducted Tuesday at 12:00 Noon in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. William Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.

The family will visit with friends on Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Isabell, Brandon Isabell, Christopher Isabell, David Mayberry, Clint Bradley and Phillip Bolton.
