Bonnie Davis Brumley

November 7, 1923 — February 12, 2010

Bonnie Davis Brumley, age 86, resident of Lynnwood Dr. passed away Friday, Feb. 12th , 2010.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brumley will be conducted Monday Feb. 15th at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with David Morris and Curtis Dowdy officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones cemetery.

The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Born on November 7, 1923 in Maury County, Mrs. Brumley was the daughter of the late John B. and Hattie Brown Davis. She was the widow of Thomas Leon Brumley who passed away in 1998. Bonnie was a retired supervisor at Dixie Manfacturing with 35 years of service. She was a homemaker and an avid quilter, excellent cook and seamstress. She was a member of the Highland Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter: Sandra Oliver of Columbia; grandchildren: Kenneth Wayne Wanda Hill, Michelle Oliver, Kristie Mark Clemons of Columbia; great-grandchildren: Hillary Oliver, Daniel Clemons, Emily Clemons and Amanda Hill Moore Chuckie; great-great-grandchildren:Nickolas Moore and Katlyn Moore; two brothers Aubrey JoAnn Davis and Massie R. Doris Davis of Columbia; three sisters: Glenna Thomas E. Johnson, Mary Ruth Harold Parrish of Columbia and Lois Bryant of Iuka, MS. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Landra Holder Hill; son-in-law, Herman Ray Oliver; two sisters, Mildred James Atkins and Madeline White ; two brothers: L.T. Davis and John M. Davis; great-grandson: Matthew Hill.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Davis, William Davis, Jimmy Parrish, Jerry White, Dale White and Bobby White
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of Highland Church of Christ, former employees of Dixie Manufacturing, Mrs. Frances Hatley, Jimmy Pierce, Lee Hill, J.R. Anderson, Terry Davis, Neal England, Jr., Bobby Ray Brumley, Dr. Ben Gardner, Staff of Skilled Nursing Unit at Maury Regional Medical Center and NHC/ Hillview.
