Bonnie Davis

Bonnie Mae Fecteau Davis was born on February 5, 1947, to Al and Dorothy Seale Fecteau in Garden City, MI. She passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 2021, after a recent surgery. She was at home with Dickie, her husband of 57 years.
Bonnie and Dickie moved to TN in 1964 where she enthusiastically embraced the country way of life. She was a true country lady who was always on the farm helping her family. Her home was always filled with love and laughter. If you ever needed anything, Bonnie was there, you didn’t even have to ask. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Church of Christ and embodied the life of a true Christian. In 1986, at the age of 39, Bonnie became the first woman in TN to receive a heart transplant at Vanderbilt Hospital. Bonnie never let her health slow her down and she made the most of every moment! She never met a stranger and was willing to help anyone. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life! She will be remembered and missed by all of the many people she knew.
Bonnie is survived by her husband Dickie Davis. Three sons, Richard (Debbie) Davis, Danny (Lorey) Davis and Alan (Elizabeth) Davis all of Mt. Pleasant. Grandchildren, Laura (Chris) McKissack, Kendra Davis, Jed Davis, Daniel (Taylor) Davis, Natalie (Jacob) McKinney, Jacob (Corbin) Davis, Tessa (Charlie) Runions and Julie Davis. Bonnie was also blessed with 12 great grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021. A service for Bonnie will be held Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Randy McNeece officiating. Burial will take place at the Davis Family Cemetery in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee.
