Mr. Bobby N. Crews, age 72, a resident of Maple Street in Mt. Pleasant, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Crews will be conducted Monday at 4:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Randy Kersey officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 until to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
The Lawrence County native was the son of the late Ernest T. Crews, Sr. and Hilda Rone Crews and the husband of Alice Faye Massey Crews. He was a graduate of Hay Long High School. He retired as a groundsman for TVA and also before TVA he worked for Alladin Industries. He was a longtime member of Main Street Church of Christ.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters: Theresa Hal Brown, Beverly Hendley Edwards and Mirinda Mike Flynt all of Mt. Pleasant; one brother, George ?Jack? Crews of Vancover, Washington; grandchildren: Allison Ann Brown, Mallory Kate Flynt, Lauren Nicole Edwards, Michael Wesley Flynt and Luc Edwards all of Mt. Pleasant. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Ernest T. Crews, Jr., Ronald Crews and Donald Crews, one sister: Geneva C. Williams
Pallbearers will be Hal Brown, Hendley Edwards, Mike Flynt, Wesley Flynt, Luc Edwards, Paul Crews, R.L. Durham, Miley Durham, Jeff Durham, Theodore Durham and Larry Massey.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles ?Spud? Crotzer, members of the Main Street Church of Christ, Dr. James Richardson, Dr. Grant Barr, Carey Barr, Melanie Durham, P.A., Dr. Linda Monroe and Staff of Sresenius Dialysis Center.
