Mr. Bobby Norman Loftin of Hampshire, TN, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020, at his home in Hampshire.
Mr. Loftin was born on March 12, 1931, to the late Clarence and Mary Frances Loftin. He was married to the late Gilma Alveo Loftin on August 23, 1964, and they had four children. Bobby served in the Navy and Air Force for over 23 years. He served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars with Special Operations.
Bobby met his wife Gilma in Panama during his survival training and were married for 49 years. Bobby also worked at Hidden Acres Nursing Home and The King's Daughter School. He is a member of St. Catherines Catholic Church and was a member of The Knights of Columbus. Bobby also served as Hampshire School PTA President and volunteered in many school activities.

Mr. Loftin is preceded in death by his wife Gilma Alveo Loftin, parents Clarence and Mary Francis Loftin, brother James W. Loftin, and sister Mary Sue Loftin Johnson, nephew Jerry Tony Johnson, and niece Cherry Bullion.
Mr. Loftin leaves behind to cherish his memory: Joseph D. Loftin (Nancy) of Hampshire, TN, Lisa M. Loftin of Knoxville, TN, Patricia "Patsy" Loftin-Pointer (Robert) of Knoxville, TN, and Robert N. Loftin (Dezarae of Aurora, CO.; Grandchildren: Amber, Bryce, Gabrielle, Elijah, Jacob, Noah, Bayli, Kaleb, Payton, and Chloie; sister-in-law: Mary Francis Loftin; Nieces Debbie Crownover Adcock, Linda Loftin, Melanie "Mimi" Adcock, and Misty Loftin.
Bobby will be remembered by his family at a memorial service at St. Catherine's Catholic Church on July 20, 2020 beginning at 11:30 am.
