Mr. Bobby L. Potts, 62, a resident of East 17th Street in Columbia, passed away Friday, April 14, 2006.
Funeral services for Mr. Potts will be conducted Sunday, April 16, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Mark Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Potts Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Edward L. and Ruby Stanfill Potts.
He is survived by a lifetime friend, Almeda Potts of Columbia; three daughters, Detra Potts, Stephaine White and Megan Chatman all of Columbia; grandchildren, Jeremy Lancaster of Williamsport, Josh Burgett, Allysia Burgett, Jasmine Mayberry, Melvin Chatman, Almeda Chatman, Shyla Chatman and Kiria Hunt, all of Columbia; one brother, Roger Potts of Santa Fe; three sisters, Margaret Potts, Lily Mae Black both of Columbia and Sandra Marcrom of Waverly, TN.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Lancaster, Josh Burgett, Joey Hunt, Berry Marcrom, John Marcrom and Mike Potts.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Workman, Allen Lancaster, Bear Stanfill and Donald Love.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Highland Rim, 2014 Elmer Pogue Drive Columbia, TN.
