Bobby Hugh Crumley

May 30, 1938 — April 15, 2009

Mr. Bobby Hugh Crumley, age 70, a resident of Smyrna, TN and a former resident of Sterling House Assisted Living in Columbia, left this earthly life for a glorious life with our Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, April 15 at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, TN, due to respiratory failure.

Funeral services for Mr. Crumley will be conducted Saturday, April 18 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the US Air Force.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.

Born on May 30, 1938 in Maury County, Bobby was the son of the late Charles and Ola Mae Walls Crumley. He worked as a master electrician for Dupont-Westinghouse in Old Hickory, TN and then transferred to Dupont in Akin, SC, which later became Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, until his retirement. He was a US Air Force veteran and a member of Two Rivers Baptist Church in Nashville.

He is survived by his sons: Michael Crumley of Columbia, Terry Kandi Crumley of Williamsport, Raymond Crumley and Randy Crumley, both of White House, TN; grandchildren: Chase, Brandon, Promila, Elijah, Terri, Anthony and Corey; Mary Wilkins of Columbia the mother of Terry and Michael Crumley and Mrs. Ester Crumley the mother of Raymond and Randy Crumley; brothers: Charles Helen Crumley of Spring Hill and Thomas Carolyn Crumley of Chapel Hill, TN; sisters: Minnie Marie Smith of Lewisburg, TN Mildred Dale Prince of Shelbyville, TN and Margurite Dwite Moore of Savannah, TN; special niece: Nicki Hickman, who took care of him in the last months of his life and several other nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were family and friends.
