Bobby "Fergie" Ferguson

Mr. Bobby "Fergie" Ferguson, age 62, a resident of Newt Hood Road in the Bear Creek Community of Columbia, passed away on Friday, September 18 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Ferguson will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Monday at Colonial meadows Church for Christ in Columbia with Bro. Ronnie Parrish and Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 3:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Russell and Lillian Goodwin Ferguson and the husband of Lena Hill Ferguson. He retired as a truck driver for Maury County, was a member of the Maury Co. Coon Hunters Assoc. and a member of Colonial Meadows Church for Christ. He loved playing ball with his granddaughter Chelsey, fishing with his brother-in-law Ray and loved his coon dogs and to go hunting with them.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son: Tim Sandy Ferguson of Columbia; sister: Ruby Jerry Nance of Mt. Pleasant; brothers: James Betty Ferguson of Mt. Pleasant and David Kathy Ferguson of Santa Fe; grandchildren: Chelsey Ferguson, Kalie Robinson and Jeremy Cory; sisters-in-law: Mary Scott, Debbie Kenneth Jett and Sherri Ricky Haskins, all of Columbia; brother-in-law: Ray Betty Parker of Columbia.
Pallbearers will be Willis Brown, Mike Hooten, Jimmy Davis, Ray Parker, Tom Latrielle, Eric Woody, Ricky Haskins and Joe Hudson. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Colonial Meadows Church for Christ, all members of the Maury Co. Coon Hunters Assoc., Dr. Gaylon Harris, Dr. Andrew Sisk, the staff of Life Care Center and the nurses and staff of Davita Dialysis.
