Bobby E. Ingrum

Bobby Eugene Ingrum, age 73, a resident of Roy Thompson Road in Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, May 28th at his residence.

Funeral services for Mr. Ingrum will be conducted Sunday, May 30th at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Jack Taylor and Rev. Phillip Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the US Army. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was born August 31, 1936, son of the late Albert and Elise Hudgins Ingrum and the husband of the late Shirley Kelley Ingrum. A graduate of Central High School, was a lifetime farmer, awarded the farmer of the year in 1971 by the Maury County Soil & Conservation, loved to hunt and fish and had attended the Nashville Auto Diesel School. He was of the Methodist faith and a US Army veteran.

Mr. Ingrum is survived by his children: Tammy Ingrum, Robby Vicky Ingrum, Mark Kaye Ingrum and Chris Becky Ingrum, all of Mt. Pleasant; brother: Jimmy Flewellen Ingrum of Columbia; sisters: Faye Charlie Norwood and Carolyn Harold Delk, both of Columbia; grandchildren: Carl Priscilla Ingrum of Columbia, Jimmy Lee Ingrum, Makayla Ingrum, Tabitha Ingrum and Emalee Ingrum, all of Mt. Pleasant; step grandson: Justin McKennon; great granddaughter: Madison Ingrum. He was preceded in death by a brother: Kenneth Ingrum.

Pallbearers will be Ron Dinwiddie, Mathew Dinwiddie, Jimmy Baker, Campbell Ridley, Elliott Hampton and Pat Hickman. Honorary pallbearers will be Sidney Howell, Dr. Steve Simmons and Dr. Johnston.
