Bobby George Crigger, age 73, of Summertown, Tennessee passed away on July 5, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Bobby was born on June 1, 1945 in Lewisburg, Tennessee to the late Carl D. and Evelyn A. Crigger. He married his beloved wife, Jennifer, on December 2, 1997. Bobby served our country in the United States Airforce. He was the Director of Superior Drivers Institute and was himself a Professional Truck Driver. Bobby was an outgoing man, who never met a stranger. He loved to tell jokes and always had one to share. He was a giving man and was always willing to help anyone in need, whenever they needed it.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Jennifer Crigger; daughter, Dianna (Sean) Buffington, of North Carolina; granddaughter, Lacy Godwin; grandson, Gus Godwin; brother, Jack (Lula) Crigger; sister, Jane (Fred) Jones; nephew, Scotty Crigger and nieces, Jenny (Randall) Jones and Jodi (Michael) Ring. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Crigger.
The family will visit with friends on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. There will be an hour of visitation from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on July 9, 2018. A service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Lindstrom and Rev. Tonya Marks officiating. Military honors will be provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19.
The family would like to offer special thanks to doctors and staff of Maury Regional Medical Center. Honorary pallbearers are James Whitehead, Bobby Kelley, Jeff “Speedy” Griffy, Tim “Bowinkle” Winkles, Tom Chambers, Charlie Cotes and Mark Olive.
