Bobbie Jean Bailey

Bobbie Jean Bailey, age 68 of Columbia, passed away into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, December 12, 2013 while surrounded by her family at Life Care Center of Columbia.
She was born March 1, 1945 to the late Dana and Lola Hensley of Rutledge, Tennessee. Bobbie was a member of Pleasant Heights Baptist Church in Columbia. She was a great mother, wife, and grandma. She assisted her husband, Jack, in their business Townecraft Cookware for 35 years throughout Middle Tennessee. She will be dearly missed by her many friends that knew her.
Bobbie is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years: Jack Bailey; daughter: Deana (Mark) Nichols; grandchildren: Michael Nichols, Brittany Nichols and Steve Hensley; brother: Johnny (Carolyn) Brown and a host of several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Bobbie’s life will be conducted Sunday December 15, 2013 in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Bob Vassar officiating. Mrs. Bailey’s family will visit with friends from Noon until the service time.
In honor of Bobbie’s life, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Pleasant Heights Baptist Church 50th Anniversary Prayer Garden.
