Mrs. Birdie Mae Hayes Pierce, age 73, a resident of
McClanahan Road in Hampshire passed away on Friday, August 3, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pierce will be conducted Monday at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rick Points officiating. Burial will be the Blowing Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3:00 ? 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
The Henderson County native was the daughter of the late
Jack and Ora Utley Hayes and the widow of James ?Jim? Edward Pierce. Mrs. Pierce was retired from Creekwood Manufacturing and was of Church of Christ faith.
She is survived by three daughters: Kathy Larry Powell of Mt. Pleasant, Patsy Moore of Culleoka and Judy Charles Runions of Hampshire; six brothers: Samuel Hayes, Carlton Hayes, Robert Hayes, Jessy Hayes, Billy Hayes and Curtis Hayes all of West, TN; five grandchildren: Andy Sue, Jenny, Carrie Ann, Sherry Lynn and Regina; twenty one great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son: James Dale, two sisters, three brothers and three grandchildren: Melissa, Amanda and Chris.
Pallbearers will be Glen Cates, Daniel Cates, Ray Hooper, Henry Vaughn, Jerry Wayne Runions and Timothy McKennon.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Davis, Havel Himes, Lou Varacalle, Michael Henley and Carl McNabb.
