Mrs. Birdie Holloway Boswell, 77, a resident of Shady Drive in Columbia, passed away on Monday, August 20, in Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Boswell will be conducted Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Steve Kelly and Rev. Gene Barrett officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 ? 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Born in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of the late Doris and Florence Lee Holloway and the wife of Frank Boswell. She was co-owner, with her husband, of Boswell Appliances, a 1949 graduate of Haylong High School and a member of St. Luke Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Sharon Boswell of Columbia; a son, Frank Linda Boswell, Jr. of Columbia; grandchildren, Micheal Boswell, Tonya Boswell Bowman, Frankie Dee Boswell, III and Kristy Joey Bell, all of Columbia; 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
