Billy was born on October 2, 1978 in Maury County. He was the son of the late Billy Wayne Lovell, Jr. and Glenda Wilkinson Lovell Butler of Lawrenceburg. Billy was 32 years old and a resident of Turnpike Road in Summertown. He was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. Billy was a former employee of Steve Williams Ford in Lawrenceburg. He was an outdoorsmen who loved to fish, go camping, hunting and loved riding four wheelers. He was a member of the Barnesville Baptist Church. Billy was a loving son, father, brother and grandson.

In addition to his mother, Billy is survived by two sons, Preston Matthew Lovell and Billy Wayne Lovell, IV both of Summertown; fiance, Mandi Dickson of Summertown; his step-father, Doris Butler of Lawrenceburg; two sisters, Whitney Lovell and Karen Lovell both of Summertown; step-brother, Collin Butler of Lawrenceburg; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Thelma Louise, Granny Susie, Wilkinson of Summertown; two nieces, Emily Kelley and Issabella Edgmon both of Summertown; a nephew, Christopher Kelley of Summertown; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Billy passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg.

Funeral services for Billy will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, December 27, 2010 in the chapel of the Williams Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Odell Spears officiating. Interment will follow at the Barnesville Baptist Church Cemetery in Lawrence County.

The Lovell family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Tim Bell, Ben Harris, Dean Wilkinson, Jacob Love, Brandon Bennett and Caleb Wilkinson.
