Betty Mae Mckennon Pugh

January 19, 1930 — July 13, 2004

Mrs. Betty Mae McKennon Pugh, 74, formerly of the Sandy Hook Community and a resident of Alpine Drive in Columbia, died Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at Hidden Acres Nursing Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Pugh will be conducted, Friday July 16, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Reverend Bob Vassar officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Cecil and Edith Kennedy McKennon. She was the widow of Powell O?Neal Pugh. She was a former employee of Tennessee Knitting Mill and a member of the Sandy Hook Church of Christ.

She is survived by children, Angela Pugh Easley of Columbia, Gary Pugh of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Joel Pugh of Hohenwald, TN, Timmy Sandra Pugh of Mt. Pleasant, TN and Kevin Carla Pugh of Columbia, TN; three sisters, Nita Bridges of Columbia, TN, Wilma Jones of Pulaski, TN, and Nell Glass of Madison, TN; a brother, Joe Morris ?Bobby? McKennon of Mt. Pleasant, TN; eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Mangrum and Margaret Hanvy; one brother, Cecil McKennon.

Pallbearers will be Terry Hanvy, Frankie Hanvy, Joe McKennon, Mark Browning, Chad Pugh, Brad Pugh, Wayne Hanvy, Chris Glass, and Mike Bridges.
