Betty Ruth Wallace

Mrs. Betty Ruth Cope Wallace, 85, resident of Golf Club Lane in Columbia died Friday, October 4, 2002 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wallace will be conducted Monday, October 7, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. at Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Vassar officiating. Graveside services will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the Hermitage Memorial Gardens, Hermitage, Tennessee. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was native of Sparta, Tennessee and long time resident of Nashville. Mrs. Wallace was the daughter of the late Frank and Vena Roberts Cope. In addition to being retired from Sparta Shirt Factory she was a caregiver traveling in both Tennessee and Alabama. She was a member of the Friendshippers at First Baptist Church in Nashville in which she formerly served as president. She was a member of the Pleasant Heights Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Peggie Glynn England; one granddaughter, Kim Don Campbell; two great-grandsons, Logan and Evan Campb
