Betty Ann Rogers was born May 14, 1932 in Marshall County and was the only child of the late Hardin and Charlotte Carpenter.
She entered eternal rest on December 17, 2019.
Betty graduated Marshall County High School in 1950 and was married for 69 years to C.P. (Buddy) Rogers, who survives.
She was mother to two sons, William Paul Rogers who preceded her in death and Charles Michael Rogers, who survives. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Angela Gail Rogers, and special friend, Darlene Brownlow.
Also surviving are two grandchildren, Angela Pounds and Mannon Rogers and four great-grandchildren, Austin Wood, Alexandra Wood, Andrew wood and Aiden Pounds.
She was baptized into Christ in 1948 at Church Street Church of Christ in Lewisburg, TN and for the past fifteen years has been a member of the Graymere Church of Christ in Columbia, TN.
She was retired from Reynolds Metals Company in Sheffield, AL after twenty years as an IBM key punch operator. Betty volunteered in the Same Day Surgery Department at Maury Regional Medical Center for several years before retiring in 2018.
She will be cremated and buried in Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg, TN. There will be a graveside service with Wendell Robinson officiating.
