Mrs. Betty Carroll Stanfill Jennings, age 64, resident of Drake Lane in Summertown, passed away on Sunday, November 30, in Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Tommy Fox and Bro. Wendell Jump officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Cemetery in Theta.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Marion Carroll and Ava Vick Carroll. She was the wife of Larry Jennings of Summertown. Mrs. Jennings was retired from Fi Si Madison as a data entry clerk. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and was a member of the Swan Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Chris Robert Shepherd and Ronnie Regina Jennings, both of Summertown; one sister: Barbara Wendell Jump of Columbia and one brother: Chester Linda Carroll of Michigan; grandchildren: Austin Stanfill and Kirstin Stanfill of Thompson Station; Noah and Luke Shepherd and Julianna Jennings of Summertown; three nephews: Jim Carroll and Jerry Carroll of Michigan and Ryan Jump of Columbia; several great nieces and nephews, She was preceded in death by a son: Bo Stanfill and a daughter: Sherry Stanfill.
Pallbearers will be John Stanfill, Bryan Stanfill, Ronnie Jennings, Jim Carroll, Robert Shepherd, Ryan Jump and Jerry Carroll. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Stanfill, Noah Shepherd, Luke Shepherd, Helen Hardin and Mina Bennett.
