Mrs. Betty Malone Russell, 82, a resident of East 16th Street in Columbia, died Wednesday, August 21, 2002 at Heritage Manor.
Graveside services for Mrs. Russell will be conducted Friday, August 23, 2002 at 11:30 a.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Rick Points officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home.
The Double Springs, Alabama native was the daughter of the late Luther and Ollie Treadway Malone. She was the widow of James O. "Buddy" Russell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Rick Brenda Russell of Franklin, TN; four sisters, Etta Grimes of Lawrenceburg, TN, Barbara Foley of Waynesboro, TN, Jackie Beverly of Jacksonville, FL, and Jessie King of Columbia, TN; a brother, Bill Malone of Savannah, TN; several nieces and nephews.
