Bessie Seaton Stanfill

Mrs. Bessie C. Seaton Stanfill, 73, a resident of Dunlap Road in Duck River, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at NHC/Hillview.
Funeral services for Mrs. Stanfill will be conducted Saturday, August 26, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Mark Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Williamsport Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
Born in Lewis County, she was the daughter of the late Webb and Lillie Johnson Seaton and the wife of Oscar Stanfill. She was a retired cook from Farm Bureau Insurance Company and a member of the Williamsport Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Stephen Stanfill of Williamsport and Kenneth ?Kenny? Stanfill of Duck River; daughter, Gloria Ann Stanfill of Columbia; grandchildren, Brian Edward Cox of Only, TN and Whitney Elizabeth Cox of Columbia; sister, Sallie Parrott of Indianapolis, IN. She was preceded in death by a sister, Willidean McCormick and four brothers, Donald Seaton, William ?Bill? Seaton, James ?Jim? Seaton and Charlie Seaton.
Pallbearers will be Don Parrott, Danny Parrott, Donald Love, Shannon Love, Tim Seaton, Joel Seaton, Tommy McCormick and Steven Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony and Caroline Busby and the members of the Williamsport Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Williamsport Baptist Church, Hwy. 50, Williamsport, TN 38487
