Mrs. Bessie Riley Wiley, 91, widow of Clarence S. Wiley and a resident of River Heights in Columbia died Thursday, August 5, 2004, in NHC/Hillview.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wiley will be conducted Saturday August 7, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Bob Adair and Reverend Richard Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late John and Isibell Davis Riley. Mrs. Wiley was a homemaker and a charter member of the Highland Park Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Billy Benefield of Columbia, TN; her grandchildren, Jeff Kim Benefield of Columbia, TN, Steve Tracy Ann Benefield of Murfreesboro, TN, Jan James Hanvy of Spring Hill, TN, Alicia Luis Flores of Nashville, TN and Keith Luttrell of Columbia, TN; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; a son-law, Charles Luttrell; a sister, Mrs Matt Parker of Hickman, KY; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Ann Luttrell; two sisters, Annie Nall and Ruth Ashworth; seven brothers, Bob, Woody, Lovell, Walter, Albert, George and Marvin Riley.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Benefield, Steve Benefield, Keith Luttrell, Charles Wiley, Jimmy Hanvy, Ronnie Nall, Bobby Dan Parker, Loyd Wiley, John Riley and Wayne Riley.

Honorary pallbearers will be, Lily Davis Sunday School Class at Highland Park Baptist Church, Gene Riley, Butch Prosser, Mike Prosser, J.W.& Audrey Scott,
Perry & Kathleen Rogers, Ruth Johnson, Delano & Lucretia Benefield, Billy Joe Riley, Mildred Richards, Dr. Gentry and Dr. James Slandzicki.

Memorials may be made to the Highland Park Baptist Church, 1800 Highland Avenue, Columbia, Tennessee 38401.
