Mrs. Bertha Brink Cunningham, 90, a resident of Lawrenceburg and former resident of Mt. Pleasant, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 01, 2006 in Lawrenceburg.
A Life Celebration service for Mrs. Cunningham will be conducted Friday, March 3, 2006 at 11:00 am at St. Catherine?s Catholic Church in Columbia with Father Jim Henning officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. Friends will visit with the family on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and a prayer vigil will be conducted at 7:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.
Born in Lawrence County she was the wife of the late Lee Roy Cunningham and the daughter of the late Herman Brink and Cynthia Gmeinweiser Brink. She retired as the owner operator of the Bi-Rite Grocery Store in Mt. Pleasant along with her husband and was a charter member of the original St. Catherine?s Catholic Church on West 7th Street.
She is survived by a niece, Ann Carolyn Casey Jones of Lawrenceburg, TN; great nieces, Lori Ron Freemon of Lawrenceburg, TN and Julie Jon Newton of Franklin, TN; and great nephew, Eric Ali Jones of Brentwood, TN.
Pallbearers will be Glenn Lumpkin, Louis Brink, Pat Held, Mike Dugger, David George, and Thomas Neeley Edwards.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Taylor Rayburn, Jim Ebert, Steve Konz, Price Keller, Billy Holt, and Syvial Evers.
Memorials may be made to St. Catherine?s Catholic Church, 3019 Cayce Lane, Columbia, TN 38401.
