Berry Martin Crosby III

July 6, 1961 — October 5, 2024

Berry M. “Marty” Crosby III passed away on October 5, 2024, in Columbia, Tennessee, at the age of 63. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Berry Martin Crosby II and Patsy Ruth Miller Crosby. Berry studied at the University of Southern Mississippi, where he laid the foundation for a successful career as a financial advisor and broker for LPL Financial in Hattiesburg, MS, a profession he took great pride in. He was dedicated to his career until illness forced him to stop. Berry was a proud member of the Lions Club in which he served as vice president and president.

Known for his natural wit and sense of humor, Berry always had the ability to make those around him laugh. Above all, he cherished his role as a father, and his love and adoration for his son were boundless—he was Eric's #1 fan in every aspect of life. Berry was also a true outdoorsman who found joy in fishing, kayaking, golfing, and camping, often embarking on excursions with friends. His artistic eye for photography, honed during his time working for Kodak Film, became a cherished hobby, as he captured countless memories of his son and their adventures together.

Berry's memory will be deeply cherished by his son, Eric Martin (Haley) Crosby, and his beloved granddaughters, Scarlett and Juliet Crosby. He is also survived by his brother, Michael Crosby; his niece, Natasha Kile; and his lifelong friends: John Guillot, Mike Barnard, Doug Barnard, and Scott Barnard.

Berry’s spirit will live on through the many lives he touched and the endless memories he created with his loved ones.
