Bernice "Bunny" Pukenis

Bernice "Bunny" Mitchell Pukenis, age 81, resident of Culleoka Hwy, passed away on Friday May 14th at Maury Regional Hospital.
Born May 22, 1928 in Winter Garden, FL, daughter of the late George and Willie Mai Powers Mitchell and the wife of Kenneth Pukenis of Culleoka. She served in the US Navy in the Waves. Mrs. Pukenis retired as a bookkeeper for the Falk Corporation in Milwaukee, WI.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Michael Liz Pukenis of Minneapolis, MN, Vicki Greg Stephens of Green Town, PA and Lynn Robert D'Amato of Culleoka; a brother: Roy Shirley Mitchell; a sister in-law: Vern Rolbicki of New Holstein, WI; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 nephews and 7 nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother: William Mitchell and a brother-in-law: John Rolbicki.
In lieu of a memorial or flowers the family request funny stories and or precious memories about our beloved Bunny to be placed in a book for her grandchildren. They may be sent to the family at 2721 Culleoka Hwy, Culleoka, TN 38451 or to Chandu@bellsouth.net
