Mr. Benjamin Robin Goins, 25, resident of Brookridge in Nashville, died Wednesday, June 5, 2002, in Southern Hills Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Goins will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Parks officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 ? 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
He was a native of Maury Co., the son of Wayne Edison and Annie Ruth Belew Goins of Columbia. He was valedictorian of the 1995 graduating class of Mt. Pleasant High School. He attended Columbia State Community College, Middle Tennessee State University and Austin Peay State University. He worked as a paralegal with James Flexer, Attorney at Law. He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors in addition to his parents include one brother, Cody Goins of Columbia; maternal grandmother, Nancy R. Belew of Columbia; paternal grandmother, Vergie Goins of Mt. Pleasant; one uncle, Ronnie Belew of Eads, TN, and one aunt, Shirley Goins of Nashville.
Pallbearers will be Ben Liles, Wayne Lynch, Ronnie Belew, Ron Reed, and John Neely. Honorary pallbearers will be staff and employees of the law office of James Flexer.
