Beatrice Lewis Gibson

January 16, 1915 — October 15, 2008

Mrs. Beatrice Lewis Gibson, age 93, a long time resident of Hamilton, OH, passed away on Thursday, October 15, at Hidden Acres Nursing Home in Mt. Pleasant.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gibson will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Dennis Lewis officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Hamilton, OH.

The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until time of services at the funeral home.

A native of Livingston, KY, she was the daughter of the late Ulysses Mullins and Mae Mullins. She was first married to the late Herbert Lewis and later to the late Roy Gibson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pilot Knob Baptist Church in Big Hill, KY. Mrs. Gibson enjoyed bowling and music.

Survivors include her son: Dennis W. Marjorie Lewis of Summertown; grandchildren: Linda Kenny Ragsdale of Summertown, Maynard Linda Lewis of Mt. Pleasant, Denise Stewart of Summertown and Melanie Jamie Olmstead of Summertown; 9 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren; one brother: Willard Mullins and one sister, Mable Whisnant, both of Michigan; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Earl Mullins, Glen Mullins, Bobby Mullins and Raymond Mullins.

Honorary pallbearers will be Adrian Lewis, Damien Lewis, Robby Newkirk, Jonathan Stewart, Jamie Olmstead and Kenny Ragsdale.

The family has requested that donations be made to the Alzheimers Association, 4004 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37215.
