Beatrice A. Rhew

Mrs. Beatrice A. Toone Rhew, age 89, a resident of Camelot Drive in Columbia, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2007, in Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Rhew will be conducted Friday at 3:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Vann and Rev. Jeff Jacobs officiating. Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
The Rector, AR, native was the daughter of the late James Herbert Toone and Ida Mae Wooten Toone. She was the wife of Floyd Wayne Rhew of Columbia. She was a retired nurse with the Pontiac State Hospital in Pontiac, MI. She was a member of the Craft Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors in addition to her husband of 69 plus years, include two daughters: Glenda Fay James Wheatley of Spring Hill and Vonna Sue Lynn Sr. Nelson of Columbia; grandchildren: Bradley Faris Wheatley of Spring Hill, Lawrence Shelly Nelson of Hohenwald, Patricia Leroy Schmuck of Rogers, AR, Lynn Charles Nelson of Columbia, Andrew Wheatley of Spring Hill and Lisa David VandenBerg of Phoenix, AZ; 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer?s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Avenue, Seventh Floor, New York, NY 10001.
