Barbara Ann Wilcox

Ms. Barbara Ann Wilcox, age 58, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her family, in Columbia, Tennessee.
Ms. Wilcox was the daughter of the late Jim Nowosielski and Donna Latoski and was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan on August 4, 1954. She worked as a Kitchen Manager, a Certified Nurse Assistant and a Licensed Massage Therapist during her career. She was a member of New Life Church in Columbia.
Her children remember Barbara as being a hard worker with a big heart. She loved cooking for her family and her hobbies were fishing and reading. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters.
In addition to her mother, Barbara is survived by her children: Andrea Krauss, Jamie (Matt) Hatley, Chris (Erin) Wilcox and Steven Wilcox; her beloved grandchildren: Meara (age 9), Elyse (Age 5), Kaia (age 4), Katie (age 4), Zoe (age 1) and a baby girl who is expected in October; siblings: Jim (Alice) Nowosielski, Smiley (John) Scobie, Terry (Ron) Earl, Wanda Tyler, Val (Doug) DeVelbiss and Rick (Nancy) Nowosielski. She is preceded in death by her father, Jim Nowosielski.
The family will hold a celebration of Barbara’s life on Saturday, August 10, 2013 in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia at 4:00 p.m.. They will visit with friends at a reception in Blevin’s Hall at Williams Funeral Home immediately following the service until 8:00 p.m..
