Mrs. Barbara J. Gray Penrod, age 70, a resident of Culleoka, the mother of Guy Penrod passed away on Friday morning at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday evening at 6:00 P.M. in the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Pete Tackett, Reverend L. H. Hardwick and Reverend Ward Jones officiating. Burial will be in South Park Cemetery in Roswell, NM at a later date.
The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 4:00 ? 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The Roswell, New Mexico native was the daughter of the late Guy Allen Gray and Leona Patterson Gray and the widow of Reverend Joseph L. Penrod. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Columbia.
Survivors include her children, Guy Angie Penrod of Culleoka, TN and Stephanie Penrod of Riverside, CA; seven grandsons, Tyle Penrod, Logan Penrod, Joe Penrod, Jesse Penrod, Levi Penrod, Grayson Penrod and Zachariah Penrod all of Culleoka, TN; a granddaughter, Lacey Penrod of Culleoka, TN; a sister, Donna Davis of Roswell, N.M.
