Barbara Holder

Barbara K. Holder, who left us peacefully on July 13, 2024, at the age of 67. Barbara was born on June 15, 1957, in Maury County, Tennessee, to the late Uvella Sutton and Elton Mac Ragsdale. 

Barbara was a devoted mother, a cherished homemaker, and a beloved grandmother whose life was defined by her deep love for her family. She took great joy in spending time with her grandchildren, always finding ways to make them laugh and creating lasting memories through her playful teasing and affectionate presence.

Barbara also had a special bond with her sister, Judy Ann Wyatt, with whom she loved to shop and explore new places. Their trips were filled with joy as they picked out angels and hummingbirds, symbols of their shared moments and cherished memories.

She is survived by her daughter Stacey Holder, and son Timothy Wayne (Amanda) Holder. Barbara was a proud grandmother to 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Judy Ann Wyatt and her brother William Ragsdale, along with a host of extended family and friends who will deeply miss her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her sisters Ruby McGraw, Margaret Norman, and Minnie Sue Ragsdale, her brothers Elton Mac Ragsdale Jr. and John Charles Ragsdale.

A service for Barbara will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to the start of the service.
