Barbara Graham, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on February 5, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee. She was born in Maury County, Tennessee, to the late Clifford Whitehead and Remona Cothran Butler.
Barbara was a woman of warmth, strength, and kindness. She had a heart full of love for others and never met a stranger. Described as funny, independent, and outspoken, she lived her life with a generous spirit, always putting others before herself. She found joy in caring for those around her, making sure everyone felt loved and supported.
A true lover of nature, Barbara adored flowers, especially painted daisies, and often treated herself to beautiful bouquets just because she could. Her love extended to animals, as she held a deep compassion for all creatures. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a devoted member of Columbia First Church of the Nazarene.
Barbara's memory will be cherished by her siblings: Mary Sue Greggs (Gerald), Sandy Collins, Jimmy Butler (Denise), Robert Whitehead (Cynthia), Randy Whitehead (Michelle), and Celia King. She will also be remembered fondly by her nieces: Kim Webb (Bubba), Annette Sullivan (Michael), Dana Jones, Nicole Beard (Thomas), and Hannah Haley (Laike); her nephews: Brad Collins (Callie), Rodney Collins, and Chris Collins; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews. Special in her heart were her granddaughter in her heart, Rebecca Campochiaro, and her sisters in heart, Debbie Gray, Linda Greggs, and Patty Thurman.
She is reunited with her beloved husband, Ricky Graham; her parents, Remona and Warren Butler, and Clifford Whitehead; her siblings, David Whitehead and Mary Ann Thornton; her in-laws, Joe and Jean Graham; brother in law: Dennis Collins; and niece: Angel Collins.
Family and friends will gather to honor Barbara’s life on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. Michael Sullivan and Brad Collins will be speaking. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the start of the service.
