Barbara Faye Love

Barbara Faye Love, age 65, a resident of Wheeler Field Rd in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Friday, January 15th, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services for Ms Love will be conducted Sunday, Jan. 17th at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in the Harris Cemetery in the Caney Springs Community.

The family received friends on Saturday from 5:00 – 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was born on December 12, 1944, Barbara was the daughter of the late Oscar and Estelle Harris Love. She had a associates Degree from Columbia Community College, also owned and operated "MOM" Memories Off Main Antiques in Mt. Pleasant. She loved working with her son Brandon at Love's Mowing Service. Barbara started the Circle of Love at Hidden Acres Nursing Home in Mt. Pleasant. She was very instrumental in working with Sheriff Enoch George on fund raisers helping people with financial needs. Her last fund raiser was for Deputy Brian Owens after being shot to help with medical expenses. She received a degree at the Maury Beauty College.

Survivors include her children: Brandon Allen Keen Love of Mt. Pleasant, Katherine Byers of Mt. Pleasant and Sandra James Childress of Culleoka; brothers and sisters: Ralph Love of Thompson Station, Timmy D. Jane Love of Columbia, Norma Doug Rogers, Judy Robert Thompson, Janice Ronnie Thomas of Columbia and Leroy Alma Love of Wheel, TN; grandchildren: Stephanie Charles Lasne of Florida, Kristin Megan Byers of Mt. Pleasant, Justin Robert Byers of Thompson Station, Savannah Grace Parigin of Culleoka and Lillie Jane Leah Love of Columbia; great-grandchildren: Charles Kullin Lasne and Christopher Hagen Lasne; Special Friends: Marilyn, Ginger, Cindy, Arveda, Marvella, local song writers and Spring Hill Antiques. She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Deputy Brian Owens, Sheriff Enoch George, Billy Morton, Johnny Cox, Brandon Randolph, Daniel Vanstein, Guthrie Mason, Jeff Thompson and Wayne Rogers.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mr. Steven Doolos, Dr. Charles Atnip, Dr. Jeffrey Jobe, Stewart Fisher and customers of Love's Mowing Service.
