Barbara Ann Davis

Barbara Ann Elliott Davis was born December 30, 1936 in Wayne County, Michigan, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Florence Elliott. She was the wife of Bobby Joe Davis of Summertown and they enjoyed 55 years of married life. Barbara had a full-time job as a homemaker raising six children.

Barbara is survived not only by her husband, Bobby Joe, but by their children, Sharon Elmer Boshers of Mt. Pleasant, Richard Nancy Davis of Mt. Pleasant, Bobby Lisa Davis of Rally Hill, Michael Sonya Davis of Columbia, Juanita Hinson of Summertown and Johnny Tammy Davis of Mt. Pleasant; nine grandchildren, Jason Boshers, Joseph Boshers, April Bobo, Amber Davis, Brittany Davis, Casey Hinson, Keith Hinson, Ashlyn Davis and Cooper Davis along with 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, James Elliott of Mt. Pleasant, Patrick Elliott, Roy Elliott, Betty Goodnow and Carol Elliott, all of Michigan. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Billy, Donnie, Kenny and Harold Elliott.

Barbara passed away on Friday, July 13, 2012, at her home with her family by her side.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Jason Love officiating. Burial will follow in the Blowing Springs Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
