Aurora Perez Jimenez

Aurora Jimenez, age 72, was born April 1, 1939 in Monte Alto, TX, to the late Andres Perez and Nicolasa Flores Perez. She was the wife of the late Jose Jimenez and was retired from the power train division of Saturn Corporation. Aurora was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors include her children: Alicia Jimenez of Columbia, Jose Luis Jimenez of Saginaw, MI and Michael Alan Sonja Jimenez of China; grandchildren: Adriana Carrillo of Columbia, Emmell Rachel Jimenez of Saginaw, MI, Mikah Jimenez of China and Madison Jimenez of Saginaw, MI; a great-granddaughter: Alyssa Jimenez of Saginaw, MI; a sister: Eva Nieto of Adrian, MI and three brothers: Raul Perez, Eliodoro Perez and Ray Perez, all of Saginaw, MI along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister: Candelaria Garza.

Mrs. Jimenez passed away on July 16, 2011 at Signature Health Care in Columbia.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, July 30, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Randy Coleman and Felix Pena officiating. The family will visit with friends from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
