Audry Ann Watson, age 74, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Audry was born on December 14, 1940 in Giles County, Tennessee to the late Huie Barnickle and the late Rosalee Faught Barnickle. Audry married Mr. James Edwin Watson on September 11, 1959. The two shared a beautiful journey together. She loved her family deeply. Audry was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to take care of them. She worked at Brown Elementary School in the cafeteria and retired after thirty years of dedicated service. Audry was a member of Parkway Baptist Church.
The family will visit with friends on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Williams Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Parkway Baptist Church on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.
Audry is survived by her husband of fifty-five years James Edwin Watson of Columbia; son Bruce Watson of Murfreesboro; daughters Carol Odom of Columbia and Sandra (Mike) Walters of Columbia; granddaughters Candice (Barrett) Johnson, Heather Watson, and Katlyn Watson; grandsons Cody Odom, Winston (Jessie) Walters and Chris Watson; great-grandchildren Triston Watson, Tayler Watson, Katherine Johnson, Baylor Johnson, Ellie Walters, and Jase Walters; sisters Charlotte (Ray) Watson and Barbara (Joe) Luffman; and brother Gary (Jennie) Barnickle.
Audry was preceded in death by her parents Huie and Rosa Barnickle and brother GW Barnickle.
Pallbearers will be Chris Watson, Cody Odom, Winston Walters, Triston Watson, Darryl Watson, Keith Watson, Tim Barnickle, Gene Barnickle, Nick Watson, and Jason Watson.
