Mrs. Audrey Leatha Leslie, 87, a resident of Glencoe Road in Culleoka, died Monday, December 1, 2003 at Life Care Center in Columbia..
A memorial service for Mrs. Leslie will be conducted Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Jerry Elder and Jeffrey Sparks officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
A native of Clay County in Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Cecil W. and Augusta Felling Fagg. She was married to Wayne ?Gov? Leslie for 61 years. He died January 30, 1999. She was also preceded in death by 6 brothers; Ernest, Hershell, Herman, Chauncey, Virgil and Donald. She was a member of Barbour Ave. United Methodist Church in Terre Haute, Indiana and attended Edge Memorial United Methodist Church in Groveland, FL. She was also a member of the Sandcutt, Indiana Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxilary and the Sandcutt Home Ec. Club.
She is survived by her daughter and son ?in-law Linda L. and David White with whom she had made her home in Culleoka, TN since 1998 and a son Robert E. Leslie Paula of Oklahoma; three granddaughters, Brenda Uhls of Huntsville, AL, Laura Wells of Cory, Ind. and Lauren White of Culleoka, TN; three grandsons, Jeffrey Sparks of Murray, KY, Bradley Sparks of La Vergne, TN and Robert W. Leslie of Merom, Indiana and nine great-grandchildren.
