Mr. Arnold Lodgin Foster, 79, a resident of Brannon Court in Columbia died Saturday May 29, 2004 at Hidden Acres Nursing Home.
Funeral service for Mr. Foster will be conducted Tuesday June 1, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Brother Bob Brewer officiating. Inurnment will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late, William Franklin and Sally Pearl Overstreet Foster. He was the husband of the late Katheline Foster. He was a retired truck driver for Civil Construction Company in Nashville, Tennessee. He was of Church of Christ faith.
He is survived by a sister, Melba Cheek of Lawrenceburg, TN; nieces, Wanda Burns of Theta community, Shelby Johnson and Peggy McClain both of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Barbara Rummage of Columbia, TN, Linda Foster of Atlanta, GA, Shelia Burns and Judy Logue both of Columbia, TN, Kathy Cheek of Suwannee, GA; nephews, Mike Burns of Columbia, TN, Rusty Foster of Memphis, TN, Ricky Foster of Columbia, TN, Steve Foster of Pensacola, FL, Randy Foster of TX, Mike Foster and Sammy Logue of Columbia, TN, Rex Cheek of Oldsmar, Fl. and a special great-niece, Macenze White.
He was preceded in death by five sisters, Mary Eugenia Logue, Lela Walker, Bobbie Burns, Christine Lancaster and Doris King Chappell; two brothers, Ernest Foster and V. M. ?Pete? Foster; one niece, Sandra Lancaster Potts and one nephew, Danny Lancaster.
