April Brady-Beard

April Brady-Beard, a radiant soul who could make the sun blush with her glowing personality, passed away on September 2, 2023, in Columbia, Tennessee.  She was born on April 2, 1975, to Ralph Hallmark and the late Jean Riley. April's journey through life was marked by an infectious positivity that left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

April was a radiant spark of joy, always ready to light up any room with her brilliant smile. She possessed a unique gift for seeing the good in everyone and never uttered a negative word about anyone. Her warmth and kindness knew no bounds, and her ability to connect with people was simply unparalleled.

To her children, April was not just a mother but also a cherished best friend. She embraced the role of "mama April" to countless children and welcomed her children's friends into her home with open arms. April's house was a place of laughter, love, and acceptance, where everyone felt like family.

April had a heart that never met a stranger. She was a true inspiration to all who knew her, constantly reminding us that her battle with cancer would never define her. She embodied resilience, both mentally and physically, proving that the human spirit can overcome even the greatest challenges.

April lived her life with gratitude, never taking a moment for granted. She had a deep love for exploring historical towns and had a knack for turning every outing into an adventure filled with cherished memories. Her love for life was contagious, and she shared that enthusiasm with her family and friends.

April was a pillar of support for her family, a dedicated presence at every game her loved ones ever played. Her unwavering encouragement and boundless love were a source of strength for all. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support that will continue to inspire generations to come.

April Brady-Beard was a beacon of positivity and love in a world that sometimes needs it most. Her memory will forever shine brightly in our hearts, reminding us to approach life with a smile and a loving heart.

She is survived by her loving family and countless friends who will forever cherish the beautiful moments they shared with her. April will be deeply missed but will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

April is survived by her dedicated and loving husband: Steven Beard; children: Jordan Brady, Jessica Brady, Anders Beard and Tori Beard; and father and stepmother: Ralph Hallmark and Molly Hallmark; and brothers: Kelly Hallmark (Angela) and Eddie Hallmark and several nieces and nephews.

April is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather: Jean Riley Marks and Farris Marks.

Pallbearers will be Anders Beard, Dawson Barksdale, Jeff Lockridge, Steve Farris, Colin Brady, and Tony McKennon.

A service for April will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 11:00 AM to the start of the service at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee.
