Mr. Anthony "Tony" Lee Lovett, 64, a resident of Cherry Street in Columbia, passed away Monday, December 8, at the Veterans Hospital in Nashville.
Memorial services for Mr. Lovett will be conducted Friday at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Jerry Elder officiating.
The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 PM to service time at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Willie lee and Lorella Black Lovett. He was a retired auto body repairman from Lovett & Sargent Body Shop. He loved fishing and was US Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.
He is survived by his children: Ervin Lovett and Michelle Lee Lovett and fiancée, Rodney Knowles, all of Columbia; grandchildren: Aliana Lovett of Hampshire, Savannah Lovett and Emmalee Knowles, both of Columbia; brother: Jerry Effie Lovett of Columbia; sisters: Faye Ward, Lourene Hardison and Eugenia Posey, all of Columbia and Mary Jean Ingram of Brentwood; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers: William "Buddy" Lovett and Dewayne "Cotton" Lovett.
Honorary pallbearers will be Neil Goodman and Bobby Jacobs.
